Our SAN MARCOS – ACIPACU Mam coffee is a Mayan grown, organic, and single origin coffee cultivated by Maya Mam farmers, members of the Asociación de Productores Agrícolas Comunidades Unidas (ACIPACU) located in the community of El Naranjo, close to the Tajamulco volcano. The 57 ACIPACU members belong to the ethnic group Mam from the San Marcos municipality of Tajumulco.
The SAN MARCOS – ACIPACU 2020 crop resulted with the following cupping notes: chocolate, honey, peach, green tea. Medium body.

This coffee is from a region with some of the highest peaks of Guatemala. Having been to the San Marcos region, it is something special all its own. I remember seeing the fog roll in across what I can only say reminded me of Montana sagebrush in the mountains on a fall day (not your typical Latin American climate). The unique elevation and rugged terrain give this coffee a taste all its own! This is a unique and delicious coffee- worth a try!
